Windows 10: Why does it take Windows 11 so long to back up?

I back up my computer and it takes over 2 hours when there is hardly nothing on my computer but a few songs that's less than a gigabyte of music no movies no games no nothing but it takes forever for this computer to back up to my USB card that has ample space?

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
