Windows 10: Why does iTunes on my partners account on our pc work but not mine

Itunes stopped working on our PC we were advised to delte it and re-install it.

My partners account will run iTunes but my account will not. Have tried re-installing but it always says it cant re-install because there is still ITunes software on there. We deleted all the software as advised online off both accounts. It will re-install on my partners account but not on mine.

Everytime i try to re-install on my account it deletes it off my patrners account too but then he can re-install it again no problem???

Have tried speaking to apple and Dell make of PC but neither of them can fix it!!!

Any ideas before i smash the thing into pieces???

It seems that there's a problem with that particular link. Anyhow, here are some steps that you can try and see if it resolves the issue:

• Disable your third-party antivirus.
• Install iTunes as administrator.
• Update your Windows.
• Restart your PC.
• Visit Apple forums to check for suggestions.

iTunes won't connect to my iTunes Media directory

1. Uninstall iTunes completely. (I suggest using Geek Uninstaller. In my experience this does a good job of clearing remnants.)
2. Download and install latest iTunes from Apple, not Windows Store (Never use the Windows Store for iTunes.)
3. Check whether the Apple version allows you to point to your old media store.
