Windows 10: Why does Laptop freezes after using Bluetooth mouse for longer time

I have noticed that every time I am using the Bluetooth mouse, the laptop screen will freeze for more than 20 seconds. I had to force shutdown my laptop to stop the freezing.

• Try to remove objects that can interfere with the signal of your Bluetooth adapter and mouse.

Method 2:

Check if you have installed all the updates on your computer. There are chances that you might get Bluetooth drivers through update:

• Go to the Start screen.
• Type Windows update and click on it from the list of results.
• Click on Check for updates on the left pane in the new window.

I did try that, no difference.

You mean on the computer? It's built in.

The only thing in the 1.5' between the mouse and the laptop is a chair arm and the computer power cord.

• Go to the Start screen.

Windows is up to date.

I thought I just did. It's a Microsoft mouse.

 

My bluetooth mouse is no longer being detected by my Windows 10 19xx laptop

My bluetooth mouse (Mi portable Mouse model XMSB02MW, bluetooth LE4.0) is no longer being detected by my Windows 10 19xx laptop, while other bluetooth devices are still being paired without problems, and my mouse is still being paired to my phone and tablet.

I've tried several tricks, like deleting the mouse from the windows list of known bluetooth devices, or switch off the mouse for a while, or turn off bluetooth in my laptop for a while.

Perhaps the problem had started with a windows update. In any case, moving to Windows 10 20xx has not solved the problem.
