    Why does Microsoft Annoyingly transfer desktop icons from one computer to a new computer...


    I recently purchased a new laptop and was surprised to see all the icons and files from the desktop of my old computer on the desktop of my brand new laptop. It's incredibly annoying to see this being done without my permission and then there are no clear instructions how to stop this. Should I erase the icoins from my new laptop? If I do this will it erase the icons on my old computer also?? Why do they do this, and then they don't explain a clear way for you to stop this? My first instinct os to erase the icons but it will screw me up by erasing them on my old computer also. Unbelieveable.
