Windows 10: Why does Microsoft Windows 10 give incomplete search results?

If I gave over 180 "dummies" PDF book files, why does Microsoft Windows 10 only give partial results? When moving book files around, beginning to see where half the files do not show up in my searches. Having the software "Everything" I am able to get everything.


How do I cause Windows 10 to give all files from a search instead of just partial hits?


So why are we getting these super hi speed editions of windows when it does such a terrible job at the basics?

Step 1: I would suggest you to run
Search and indexing troubleshooter and check. Please follow these steps:

b. Click troubleshooting in the search results.

Step 2: Follow these steps to turn on the hidden search box:

• Open Registry Editor.

• Create a new DWORD value named EnableSearchBox and set it to 1. If you already have this value, then just modify its value data from 0 to 1.
• Sign out and log in back to your Windows account. Alternatively, you can just restart the Explorer shell.

Search Results

In Windows 10, when I search my pictures, Search results are shown as thumbnails ( results are also incomplete, some pictures are not shown ). Can I change this so a List is shown instead?
