Windows 10: Why does MS Paint 2023 stop enlarging and reducing my picture?

No error message. I was able to enlarge and reduce in MS Paint 2023. Now it won't do either. For a while, I could delete something from the screen or close and reopen and it would work. Now it won't do either method. MS reset dIdn't work.

• Click on open with.
• Select paint.
• You will be able to see the picture in paint.

Pasting a picture into Paint from <prt.Sc>

Do provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

• What exactly are you referring to when you say: "This version doesn't appear"?
• What happens when you press Ctrl+ V keys on Paint window?

Try the below steps and check if you are able to paste and save the screen shots on MS Paint.

• Try to access the picture you want to take the screen shot, press Print Screen
  button from the keyboard.
• Open MS Paint by pressing Windows key, type
  paint and select MS Paint from the displayed options.
• Press Ctrl + V keys to Paste the picture, later press
  Ctrl + S keys to Save the picture and check if it helps.

MS Paint Recent Files

Here s a partial solution. Works for Windows 10 as well.

Paint - Delete Recent Pictures from List in Windows - Windows 7 Help Forums

This will clear it but of not disable list ie you would have to do again later etc.
