    Why does my acer nitro PC randomly give me no picture and my fans spin to the max


    Hello I got my Pc since last Year of February and I keep getting this issue where my PC randomly crashes gives me no picture and spins my Fans to the max. And no Its not a Temp issue my temps are constant 70°C and the Pc only turn off at 90 and i checked with the acer community they said it might be a GPU issue i checked event viewer could not find anything. I tried different cables a other monitor same issue.

    Laptop fan spins up to max for no obvious reason

    As stated above.

    In viewing task manager I tend to see nothing obvious that could be the cause though occassionally something like below occurs.

    Once the fan gets going it doesn't appear as if it will stop until I shut my laptop down fully.

    Checked my fan physically and no dust.

    Replaced thermal compound between cpu and heat sink.

    Scanned with windows defender and malwarebytes to find nothing.

    Appears to ramp up randomly. Played an intensive game without issue.

    I figured it might be related to using my browser - Mozilla. Deleted all history/cookies etc, switched to edge.

    Tried to eliminate as many programs to find anything to the point of resetting win10.

    Not sure what to do now. Any ideas?

    Suggested so far…

    Disconnecting from internet = no change

    Process explorer = 97-99% idle

    Checking BIOS version = most up to date

    Sent in support ticket - Awaiting response

    Acquired SpeedFan - Unable to add any fan controller

    Acquired NoteBook FanControl - Able to target fan speed in steps of 25%. Will spin up to max at any stepping other than 0%. Appears as if tilting my laptop can set the fan off to max. Currently using 0% target fan to bring it back down.

    Acer Nitro fan sound

    I have a v nitro g791 since 2015

    When the laptop boot up acer dust defender work it’s normal ,but at the end ,the right fan make a grinding noise. i have this probem since april 2017.

    What do you think?

    Ps: -while gaming the fan work normally,no sound problem everything ok

    -i clean inside the laptop there is no dust
