Windows 10: Why does my ASUS PC using Windows11 auto restart and asks me to set-up my pin?

Whenever I shut the PC down it automatically restarts and displays the question Set Up My Pin but will not accept my pin. If I force a shutdown it restarts normally with my normal pin.Whenever I shutdown again it asks the question and I have to force a shutdown.I've tried several of the proposed solutions on this Community Site like changing the power settings and advanced power settings but nothing works.Windows is set for auto updates so I do not know if this fault occurred after an update or not but I cannot thingk of another reason for it.Your help would be most appreciated.David

auto trivia restart script?

I know everyone is so busy here so I'm suggesting an auto restart script so trivia is a benefit instead of a burden. Can anyone make this script?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Windows pin not working after restart

The possible cause of this issue is corruption of files or it could be missing registry settings. To address your concern, we suggest you to follow these steps:

• Open File Explorer and browse to this location:
  C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC
• Delete everything within that folder
• Go to Settings > Accounts >Sign-in Options, click Add a PIN again and set your PIN
• PIN sign in should work going forward
