Windows 10: why does my audio cut out for like 3 seconds then randomly come back on constantly

    why does my audio cut out for like 3 seconds then randomly come back on constantly


    this happens constantly, my audio will either stutter or cut off for a solid 3 seconds before coming back on and it repeats like every 2 seconds so it just keeps happening. It stops most the time when i just reconnect my headphones, but, its very annoying and i know i don't have any type of virus so i don't understand why it happens.
