Windows 10: Why does my audio "hang" and all my background programs crash during gaming?

Whenever I play Valorant, it works perfectly fine, but after some time randomly, the audio just hangs and my screen turns black. After my screen recovers from being black, I gain notifications from my apps such as Rainmeter, TranslucentTaskbar, etc saying that encountered a fatal error and need to close. When I say my audio hangs, I mean as if someone had been talking, and as they talk it just stops and repeats the last sound that they made for about 30 seconds. For example, if someone had said, "This guy is almost dead," it would just repeat the pronunciation of the letter "D" for 30 second

Here are the steps to view detailed information about the crash in Event Viewer:

1. Press the Windows key + X and select Event Viewer.
   
2. On the left pane, expand 'Windows Logs' and click on 'Application'.
   
3. Look for the error logs related to your game crash. They should be marked as 'Error' under the 'Level' column.
   
4. Once you find the error log, click on it to view the details.
   

The details will generally include the name of the faulty application (in your case, the game), the time of the crash, the path of the faulty module, and possibly an error code.

If you see any error codes, you can try searching for them online to get a better understanding of the problem.

 

Game hangs and crashes

The game has just been updated (League of Legends) and this version crashes while I'm in game.

The reason I'm here is: LoL support will tell me "restart in safe mode/perhaps your system is too hot" without caring about the "it happens only in this version and I play a lot of ", and I think it would be more useful to know the actual reason of the crashes.
