Windows 10: Why does my computer crash when i boot it connected to the internet?

Essentially, my problem is that in the past few days ive experienced a few crashes, a bit of a headache and a even bigger question uncovered after i solved my first dilema, that being: Why does my computer crash when i hard boot it with the 3 monitors i have the less monitors the more stable the boot and why does having access to the internet seem to affect it, ive booted with 1 of my 3 screens 5 times not crashing already and seen that the ethernet cable that is connected not to LAN but to my router seems to have an impact in the sequence. Connecting computer with no internet connection to network printer

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
   
   
   

 

Internet connection causes computer to loose power.

An outdated network adapter can be one possible reason for this.
To isolate the issue, kindly provide us these details:

• Have you made any changes on your computer prior to the issue?
• How are you connected to the internet? Is it via Ethernet cable or is it wirelessly connected?
• Have you installed the latest Windows updates?

To help us diagnose the cause of this error, we would suggest that you follow these steps:



Step 1: Boot into safe mode and check if the issue persists

Safe mode starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and services. To boot into safe mode, kindly follow the steps on this link.



Step 2: If issue does not persist in safe mode, we suggest you to place the computer in clean boot and check which third party application driver is causing the issue.

perform a clean boot.



Note: After troubleshooting, make sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in Step 7 in the above KB article.

1. What changes have been made on the computer before this issue start?
2. When you say crash, does it disconnect the computer from the internet or the whole system crashes?
3. Does it have an error message?
4. It is possible that an antivirus or malware-prevention software might prevent you from getting connected so with that, do you have a third-party antivirus or malware protection program installed in the computer?

In the meantime, I suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter to isolate the issue. Here's how:

1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Network troubleshooter, and then select
   Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
2. Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.
