Windows 10: Why does my computer keep waking up shortly after putting it into Sleep Mode?

Last night, just when I wanted to go to sleep, I put my computer running Windows 10 keep into Sleep Mode which is in my bedroom. It went into Sleep mode but then woke up shortly afterward maybe a minute or so later. I put it into Sleep mode two more times and it did the same thing! I finally rebooted and tried putting it into Sleep mode and it did the same thing. I ran some commands to see what was waking it and looked at the Event Viewer but I couldn't tell what was causing this operation. The night before and earlier there was no problem and the only software update I was notified of was for

I understand that the computer wakes up immediately after putting to sleep.

There could be several reasons for the computer not going to sleep mode. To determine which device is causing this, we can run a simple command and check the reason why the computer woke up from sleep mode. To do this refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Type command prompt in the
   search bar on the Taskbar.
   
2. Right click on the command prompt icon and select
   Run as administrator.
   
3. Now, paste the following command and hit Enter:
   powercfg lastwake.
   
4. Share the results of the command.
   

The above command should let us know the device that is preventing the computer going into sleep mode.

• Aside from Windows Update. were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue?
• Is this the first time you experienced the issue?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Send us a screenshot of your screen when you wake up your computer from sleep mode.
