Windows 10: Why does my computer lose a lot of GB from my C drive then it randomly reappears?

Whenever I boot up my computer I check my C Drive almost immediately because this has been a reoccurring problem with my computer. So, When I boot it up and check my C Drive in my files it says I have 15.5 GB free in that drive and after a few minutes it goes back up to around 43ish GB. I tried to optimize the drive and clean it but it says there is nothing wrong with it. I already went through some of my C drive and deleted some stuff so it it stayed like that my computer would still be fine. So I have no idea what is going on with it.

Keep on randomly losing space on my C drive

So recently I cleared up around 30 GB of space on my c drive and which is a lot for me as I had around 9GB before. But I've been noticing that I just randomly lose space without even downloading anything. I would notice it while browsing through my computer and I would see I would lose around 100-500 MB of storage but today when I logged onto my computer I had lost around 10 GB of storage overnight. I haven't downloaded anything and usually don't because my C drive only has only around 128 Gb of storage. if someone could please help me I would appreciate it.

 

drive randomly reappears and disappears

I only have a 256 gb ssd and a random E drive randomly appeared with a lot of storage. So I downloaded games onto the drive and then it disappeared. But it recently disappeared with all the files still there and was even able to open an application, but
it soon crashed and the drive disappeared again.

• I am unable to install the update,
• I suspect the windows 10 need this much space and it is some kind of glitch,
• Please suggest a way to free up some space as I don't prefer to format partition C:
