Windows 10: Why does my computer use so much RAM?

    Why does my computer use so much RAM?


    I have 8gbs of RAM and whenever I have the computer open it uses around 50% or higher 75% or higher with apps running, 90% or higher with browser games running of the memory. This problem occurred literally over night and ever since it's started I haven't been able to find a way to solve this. I've tried restarting, ending tasks, and deleting large files, but this didn't work. Does anyone know a good way to fix this?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    To RAM or not to RAM...

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin Why does my computer use so much RAM? :D
