Windows 10: Why does my CPU speed drop so low while I am playing a game causing my game to stutter and...

My specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800xRTX 3060 by EVGA2x8gb ddr4 ram sticks600-watt PSUGA-A320M-S2H motherboardUnsure what else to note I have had this issue for the past couple of days where any game that I would play stuttered a little bit and I heard a static noise in my headphones. The screenshots below are while I was playing rdr2. I decided to open task manager and Ryzen master to see if I noticed and issue. I noticed that every time a stutter would happen the CPU GHz would drop to ranges of 0.33-2.33 hard to establish because it is really random. I'm pretty sure my CPU temps are normal bec

Very Low CPU Usage while playing Games

Hello,

So on windows 11 I noticed very low CPU usage in games (1-3%), that causes stutter and lag in most games. I can play games like Minecraft normally, in GTA V is appearing a bit stutter and lag, and games like Fortnite are unplayable. My Specs:

I5 10400F,

RTX 2060,

16 GB ram

 

Low CPU Speed While Gaming on Battery Mode

Hi, so the problem started recently on my laptop. My CPU speed when not gaming is around 2.3 GHz and above. However, whenever I play a game, my CPU clocks down to 0.79 GHz and stays there until I close the game. I also checked my temperature while gaming, which is around 60 °C. I tried changing the maximum processing unit to both 100% and it still didn't work. But if I plug a 300W AC adaptor into my laptop, the CPU speed goes up to 4 GHz. Is there any fix for low CPU clock speed while gaming on battery mode?

Game stuttering with FPS drops since Windows 10 Creators Update

Download MSI afterburner. Use the on screen display. Set it up to monitor cpu usage on all cores , gpu usage , core speed , memory speed ,gpu memory usage , cpu package temp and gpu temp. Watch it when the game stutters . Is your gpu usage suddenly dropping , is your core speed dropping , is your cpu usage shooting up to 100%? Is your gpu memory maxed out? If it's none of these things amd you've tried all the recent drivers it's the game or its Windows. Parking and unpacking CPU cores won't help it doesn't cause stuttering however sometimes on older games disabling hyper threading is an option to try.
