Windows 10: why does my dell meet the requarements for windows 11

hello i have a DELL laptop that has a intelR CPU silver N5000 with 1.10ghz and can someone tell me why my laptop can update to windows 11 this isgetting a bit odd because when i had windows 11 instaled it made my laptop very slow and run down so i was wondering why microsoft does this this is really intresting because my laptop slow and it shouldent meet the requarments for a windows 11.

Windows 11 upgrade eligiblity for Alienware Dell laptop

I have a 3-year-old Alienware 13 R3 Dell laptop that "doesn't currently meet the minimum system requirements to run Windows 11". I've checked the requirements and my current setup seems to meet them all. I rang Dell to check if they could tell me what I could upgrade on my specification and they told me it's not that my laptop doesn't meet the minimum technical requirements, it's simply that Microsoft has not listed this model as being eligible for Windows 11. Are the eligibility lists likely to be reviewed?

 

Issues with windows 11 (dell)

I have a Dell Inspiron 5558, but it is used as a backup should something happen to my two newer computers. While mine still works and I performed the latest Windows 10 Pro update on it a couple of day's back it is awfully slow.

Do you have this problem when it's plugged in and/or on battery?

Do you have Support Assist and have you been able to run it?

Have you checked with the Dell Community to see if others with the same laptop have had the same problem?

I see you are on Windows 11, mine does not meet the requirements nor has Dell approved mine for running Windows 11. Does yours meet all the requirements for using Windows 11? If it's not on the Dell list and doesn't meet all the requirements then you use it at your own risk of having problems.

The processor requirement is the most restrictive; supported processors include 8th-generation and newer Intel Core processors as well as AMD Ryzen 2000-series processors and newer. These are all chips that launched in late 2017 and early 2018. Older computers can't officially run Windows 11.

Yes it is on the list of supported processor for Windows 11 however you need a supported device as well Dell Precision 5520 or
Surface Studio 2
