Why does my Focus Session on Windows Clock stop before the session is over?

Every time I start the focus session, the session automatically stops, when there are 24 minutes left in my session. Is there any way to fix this? I have tried repairing, resetting, and uninstalling the app, but it doesn't fix anything.---System Info---Windows 11 HomeDell Inspiron 7700 AIO

  2. Remove Focus Sessions from Clock App

Hi Ck. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

I've not yet heard of Focus Session bothering anyone. But I do notice that for some reason I'm not signed into the Clock app even though I'm signed into Windows with my MS Account.

Perhaps if you sign out of that one app at the top of the settings it will back off. There shouldn't be any reason to sign into the Clock except to enable it to access your data for the Focus sessions which you do not want.

Win 11 Clock app opens in Focus Sessions

Hi @Greg Carmack. Let me try to clarify. I don't use Focus Sessions. I've got them turned off in the Clock App settings, but every time i want to use Alarms or Timer, I click on the Clock App and when it opens, it always opens in Focus Session. Then I always have to select my desired functionality, either Alarms or Timer. I would prefer to have the Clock app open in either Timer or Alarms. Clear?

Why does my Focus Session on Windows Clock stop before the session is over?

How to stop or end "Focus" session in the taskbar?

Hi Dominica, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

Focus session can be turned off from the Clock app. If it can't be disabled then there must be something wrong with the Clock app or a glitch. You may right-click on the Clock app from the Start menu and then click App settings. Scroll down and then click on Terminate to check if the Focus session will end. If that didn't work, then try the Reset.
