    I have no email in the SENT folder even though I have sent mail.

    Also may I suggest you change email accounts to one of the following.....

    Gmail
    Outlook

    The reason is they both use "Step two verification". This style of verification means even if a hacker gets your password they cannot log in to your account. You see every time someone try's to log in that hasn't been verified you will get a text or a phone call giving you a final code to log in. Its very easy and simple to setup also. The great thing is once you setup your Email application with a specific "application password" from that account you never have to log in again AND your account is protected from being logged in from foreign entities.

    I like the new outlook personally however Gmail is also damn good. Gmail also has an IP tracker that allows you to see WHERE the account has been logged in from. Anyway let us know if you wanna change over and have any questions. We will be happy to help and welcome to TPU!

    When email is sent, but not received? What's the reason?

    Some days ago I created a gmail account for the first time. I read that it's the best for safety, so I updated all my work email contacts and changed all my important emails to this gmail (like Steam, ebay, paypal etc etc...)

    Last Friday I sent an email from my work pc (using an @live.com account) to this gmail account, attaching an .xls file. The email went to my 'sent items'.

    This email never arrived when I checked from home (I checked all the folders).

    3 days later, today, I rechecked the @live account and confirmed that the email was really in my 'sent items' and that no notification of non-delivery had arrived.

    I resent the email today, and it arrived to destination.

    What's the issue here?

    Gmail - Getting mails not exactly sent to me

    No one else is getting anyone's mail because of this... It is NOT a bug.
    It is intentional. All those addresses belong to you, no matter where the dot.

    Quoted from GMail help:

    Test it... send yourself an email with no dot in your name.
