    Why does my GPU 0 Geforce GTX 580 always stay at 0% ?


    Whenever i go into a game like roblox or minecraft. My CPU skyrockets to 70-100 percent, but my GPU 0 stays at 0-5%. I dont know if its using it standalone or not but i do lag in these games and im seeing if fixing this problem by making the game use my gpu more reduces lag, so please tell me for any solutions.

    GPU at 0% all the time Windows 10

    My GPU always stays at 0% usage

    I have Windows 10 64-bit, and these are my specs:

    • Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU
    • 4096 RAM
    • NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS
      • Driver version: 342.01
    My GPU usage is always at 0% usage, when I play games such as Valorant and also when I don't. For instance, when I'm playing my RAM is at 70%, the CPU at 50-60%, and the GPU at 0%. This problem is driving me crazy and I would really appreciate some help.

    Change gpu 1 to gpu 0

    I have windows 11, when i play any game, every one or five minutes i get fps drops and some lag spikes, i dont think that my laptop has problems, when i enter to see in the process manager i see that the intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 it's gpu 0 and uses the 3D, when my gpu 1 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti does'nt use nothing. I tried to optimize deleting archives and changing some settings early when i did'nt even know that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti barely works while gaming. (sadly i can't put images the web does'nt allow me).

    Why does my GPU 0 Geforce GTX 580 always stay at 0% ?

    How to switch GPU.

    So I have two GPU, GPU 0 is intel and GPU 1 is geforce GTX. I mostly use geforce GTX, but for some reason. I think Windows automatically switched it to GPU 0, because my computer has been lagging lately. How do I fix/switch it? (For context, in most game I get 60 fps, now I get 20 fps.
