Windows 10: Why does my gpu usage randomly spikes

When ever I'm playing more demanding games my gpu usage randomly spiked to 80% and more and i get like 40 fps after like 2 minutes usage drops to like 40 and I get normal fps depending on what game it is but usually about 100. I have a RTX 3060 laptop gpu. I have the latest driver installed This usage spike cycles about every 3 minutes after it stops. Gpu is not overheating as well every time it happened the temperature wasn't above 70 °C. * Moved from Community Center

GPU usage spikes

So what happens is that I get heavy GPU usage spikes every time I launch any sort of game. I noticed that GPU usage spikes start only after 5 minutes of gameplay, as well as that stuttering happens when GPU usage reaches higher %

 

100% GPU Usage Spikes on Windows 10

Hi there,
around a week ago I decided to reinstall windows on my laptop (Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55, NVIDIA 1660ti GPU). I reinstalled all my drivers from the website of my manufacturer and all was well. I started noticing large lag spikes that lasted around 0.5 of a second to 1.5 seconds when playing Rocket League and I found it was due to my GPU usage spiking to 100% in high intensity moments and my usage was already high so I assumed it just ran out of resources. I capped my FPS and the issue was fixed for while (a few days), however, since yesterday and maybe the day before, my GPU usage has been spiking again and more randomly this time and I believe in all games. I tried installing a different driver but it didn't work and I'm not sure what to do. Can anyone help me out? Please ask any questions if necessary and I'll answer them to my best ability.

GPU usage drops randomly to 0% when gaming

My GPU usage drops randomly from 70-100% to 0-10% when im gaming. especially when playing FH4, creates severe lag spikes. Its really annoying. Anyone can help me?
