Windows 10: Why does my HP laptop hesitate all of the time?

My HP laptop hesitates when moving the mouse, typing and even in the startup system when in normal mode. When in Safe Mode, there are no issues. I have disabled services in msconfig, turned off startup items in Task Manager and after a restart, the same issues happen. Since it works properly in Safe Mode, there must be a driver issue, but I can't find any.The laptop has a brand new Windows 10 installation, all updates that Windows shows available, but still the issues exist.

This is a frequent problem am sure as you have already seen from online searches.

Flea power is usually the culprit here, basically its residual power that remains on the computer even after thecomputer has been shutdown. You can drain the flea power with the steps the other answers have suggested.

• Disconnecting the battery and adapter
• Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
• This should clear the flea power

Suggest new laptop/notebook

I haven't seen laptop from Xiaomi.. are they good? Which model?

I liked hp pavilion 360x series..suggest similar in other good brands..

I don't know why everyone hates hp so much? I have used 3 laptops from hp in last 10 yrs..latest is hp envy 17 3d , 4.5 yrs till now, first time encountered hardware problem now, that got fixed too with routine service...might need to replace fan later. But no major issue till now.. working like new even now
