    Why does my internet on my pc lag in and out while my family's internet is great?


    I just got this pc a few months ago, and the internet was great when at first, but at some point it started to lag in and out. I checked my performance and my Wi-Fi would be sending around 518 things. I have no idea why this happens and ive tried every thing I could think of. Can anybody help me with this?

    Internet lags while gaming

    Can surf internet with no lag, Playing games like TF2, Gmod, Counter strike :global offensive. Max resolution. cable speed is around 20 mb/s with 5 mbs up

    Internet Lag Issues

    Well guys, my internet is being gay. We are paying for 6MB down, and 364KB up from bellsouth. The most I have ever seen either way is the 364KB. I am wondering if there is anything wrong. Because just with my PC and the Xbox on, my internet is so laggy that playing any game online is nearly impossible. But see the Xbox's speed is fine, no lag, just me. My PC is hooked up through an ethernet cable, the Xbox is wireless, we also have a laptop which is wireless, and causes my PC to lag. Please help I am confused to the point of no hope.

    as @ZenZimZaliben has said fill out system specs or list them for us ......

    Question #1 Can you surf internet fine with no lag issues?
    Question #2 What games are you playing that experience the lag issues? What resolution settings are you using for your games? Max, min or something in the middle?
    Question #3 What is your dsl/cable speed? are you are running 10mbs down and 1 mbs up?

    does anyone know why my internet randomly cuts out: I'll keep this short I ethernet from a wifi extender router. (connects to the main router and extends internet). For some reason my computer will just disconnect from the router. The router still works for my phone and my laptop but not for my pc. This is really frustrating...
