Windows 10: Why does my laptop battery discharge even when switched off?

My laptop battery can completely discharge even when switched off, no wireless, bluetooth, mouse and all programmes set to not to wake the laptop.I am running Windows 11 Version 23H2 on an Asus Expertbook.Any help will be appreciatedMike

Battery discharging

My laptop is plugged into a docking station but the battery is discharging instead of charging. Any suggestions? Wondering if my docking station is needing to be replaced.

Thanks for trying. What I really want is one of two things:

• a way to keep my computer on until the battery charge reaches 0% or
• verification that I can still maximize its performance by only draining the battery to critical level (when charging and discharging it three to four times).

I have a strange issue with my dell xps 15 laptop. For some reason, the battery keeps saying it's discharging when the charger is plugged in, which is why my computer only has 14% battery as of right now. I don't understand why the battery always discharges,
essentially making all chargers useless, and now my computer is almost dead. I had previously replaced a broken charger for a new charger which seems to work, and my laptop also passed the battery tests, so I still don't know what could be causing this serious
discharging issue.
