Windows 10: Why does my laptop keep force restarting for Windows 11 Defender Antivirus?

I have tried literally everything to fix this problem. It has only been about two weeks that I can remember that it's been happening. I have tried all the other options I have seen on here. scannnow and everything. I have even went so far by uninstalling windows completely and reinstalling. The only thing I can do at this point to stop the restarts is by manually updating it every couple of hours and restarting it right afterwards. I'm getting frustrated because I have checked for even viruses multiple times and looked for this Searchhost.exe that apparently wasn't working properly upon start

Defender AntiVirus

There are 4 options under Defender. Two refer to AntiVirus; AntiVirus Network Inspection Service & AntiVirus Services. Under Startup Type these two are listed as manual and the Status column said Inspection Service is running. When I clicked on the Start
button in Properties, I got an immediate message: "Win.. Def.. Anti.. Serv.. on local comp.. started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."

 

Microsof Defender Antivirus Disabled

Thanks again for your help, but nothing has changed, after following each step. Antivirus is still "stopped" and cannot be restarted, although all other Windows Defender services work. The pending Windows Security Update update will not download, just a "Download error - 0x80070643".

I'm going to update to Windows 11 and see if that starts Windows Defender Antivirus.

• Press Windows + R key and type
  
  Services.msc and press Enter.
• Search for the service "Windows Defender".
• Right click on "Windows Defender" and click Properties.
• Click Start button.
• Click Apply and Ok to save changes.
• Restart the computer and check.
