Windows 10: Why does my laptop not let me sign in?

Hello everyone. I have a lenevo ideapad gaming laptop and this issue just started, my laptop wasnt moved for 24hrs and the last time i used it was working fine. I can turn on my laptop, but in the windows 11 sign in screen i cannot type anything but numbers. My password is letters but I cannot type them in even with the onscreen keyboard, tried a usb key board too. After a few Wrong passwords" typed in random numbers and pressed enter Windows asked me to enter A1B2C3, which i was able to do, the keyboard worked fine can type my original password in that text box. Hi,

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.

Once you're able to sign in, you can change the sign-in options by following these steps:
