Windows 10: why does my laptop not recognise my finger print and password when my fingerprint sensor...

I'm currently using "ASUS vivobook pro 15" with pre installed windows 11 and i did rest of the updates necessary. The problem i am facing is that whenever my laptop goes on sleep mode from being idle it wakes up but it does not recognise my fingerprint and password pin on the lock screen. it shows a message saying "an error occured" but when i restart my device or put it to sleep manually and restart it again, it recognises my fingerprint and my pin. it's just been less than a week of using this laptop.please help me with this as whenever i go AFK my laptop goes to idle sleep and my unsaved d

Finger Print Sensor No Longer Available

Hello,

I have an HP Envy 13' computer with a finger print sensor. For the past six months or so, since I got my computer, the fingerprint sensor worked for me. Now that I updated it, it says the fingerprint option is not available and that my device doesn't have
a scanner compatible.

How did updating my software make it so I can no longer use the fingerprint scanner?

Fingerprint sensor not working after laptop resumes from sleep

When I open up my laptop, the lock screen shows and the fingerprint sensor light is flashing like it's supposed to. However, when I swipe my finger on the sensor, the light turns off, and the sensor doesn't work. After I login using my password, the light
starts flashing again, until I swipe an unregistered finger, in which it flashes red and stops.
