Windows 10: Why does my laptop only charge up to 80% and not 100%?

VivoBook_ASUSLaptop X321JP_S333JPWindows 11 HomeThis laptop has been updated to the newest versionI remember a page asking about alternative battery saving plans and I recalled that I clicked on one of the choices which say "charge till 80% only"If I am not wrong, since then my computer has only charged to 80%. However, I want to change back to the plan which charges my computer to 100%, can anyone tell me how do I do this?

• I was working with my laptop Ireceive a massage that its better to set your battery power on not charging more than 80%.I accept that but now I want to charge it fully(100%)

Stop laptop charging at 80%

Hello.
I have an HP pavilion 15-cc056tx notebook. I just installed a new battery in it and the manufacturer recommended to stop charging at 90% or 80%. I was wondering if there is any app or any way, by which I can stop my laptop charging at 80% rather than 100%.
Kindly assist me if there is any way to do it.

If the battery on your computer is only charging to 80% this is likely because Battery Life Extender is turned on. Battery Life Extender sets the maximum battery charge level to 80% in order to extend the life of your battery. To turn this function off and
charge your laptop battery to 100% follow the steps below.

1. Open Settings from the Start Screen or your desktop. If you do not have Settings installed click here for instructions on installing it.

2. In the Settings window, go to Power Management.

3. Click the Battery Life Extender tab.

4. On the Battery Life Extender window, slide the slider to Off. Battery Life Extender is now turned off.
