Windows 10: Why does my laptop takes time to respond?

Hello,Could anyone please help me understand why sometimes my laptop takes too long to respond? I thought it was because i had updates to make so I did them all but even thought sometimes it still takes alot to make a task open chrome or something.. I opened task manager and performance and my disk is 3/4 of the time at 100%, is this normal?Or maybe It's because I have to change my laptop?Thank you for any advice possible.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Really, you should be getting a list of laptops you like the look of, narrowing it down and then asking on here which is best.

Asking people for suggestions really doesn't work well as most people only have experience with 1-2 laptops at a time.

Searching all the shopping sites and creating a list for you is a lot of work.

You need to do the work and we can help with the rest.
