Windows 10: Why does my new Windows 11 HP Laptop keep closing all my apps when I leave it on sleep...

Hey!Is anyone else experiencing this issue? It is super frustrating and I've sent in a request on Feedback Hub for it to be recitified and still nothing. Does anyone know how to fix this issue, without updating to Insider builds?Thanks in advance :

Windows 11 Laptop closing down apps when in sleep mode

Hi All,

I have a P16 Gen 2 laptop running Windows 11 that is relatively new. Since I have started using it I noticed it would close down all of my applications while it is in sleep mode. I have done my due diligence and:

• Checked the power settings:
  
  • Run Power Troubleshooter
    
  • Tried to disable Hybrid Sleep but setting is not present
    
  • Adjusted power plan settings
    
• Checked drivers are up to date
  
• Disabled battery saver
  
• Run SFC and DISM
  

Everything that has been suggesting in forums and reddit I have tried but nothing has resolved the issue.

Really hoping someone can shed some light on this.

 

Microsoft store's Apps close on while on sleeping

There were only three tutorials for apps closing during sleep which I placed at the top. Where are the results for those steps?

The rest of my post was about general sleep problems which cover everything that affects sleep, and sleep is what's at issue here.

Would you please go back to the top of the thread and at least work through the steps for sleep closing apps, report back the results of those so I know what else to suggest? There is not a lot on this out there, so we may need to find some new fixes here.

 

HP Pavillion Laptop, Sleeps when Lid is Closed momentarily.

My new HP Laptop with Win10 Home (bought in Oct of 2019) and even with the Power Settings set to "Do Nothing" for both while on AC and Battery Power, the Laptop Goes into a Sleep or Hibernate when I close the lid. It then takes 30 Seconds to 2 minuter for
the Laptop to restart! I have searched all the power settings looking for a way to prevent this but so far have failed to find anything that works!

Suggestions... ?
