Why is my news feed almost exclusively entertainment news these last couple of weeks? They keep dredging up ancient stories and when the first US president in history was convicted on 34 charges, not a word about it. I know they went through a period a while back where the stories were almost exclusively from conservative sites. Also, headlining stories from sites that strictly regurgitate social media input is not news. Some of us still care about actual journalism.

Unfavoriting a feed on the KIN does not remove the story from the Loop (KB 2249566)

Symptoms
After unfavoriting a feed from the Feed Reader on a KIN phone, the Loop does not update and remove the stories from that Feed.

Cause
Unfavoriting a feed will only stop new stories from being added to the Loop.

Resolution
The only resolution is to wait. As the Loop updates, the stories from the unfavorited Feed will be pushed off.

 

Edge browser no longer displays the news feed

I am replying to the above advice. Been there, done that. In fact, I did that set of steps before I ever asked for help here. Does anyone have any other suggestions? It is very inconvenient to have no taskbar.

I suggest you to follow the steps below on how to Customize News Feed in Microsoft Edge Browser and check if this helps:

• Open Microsoft Edge Browser and click “Customise” (above top sites on the right side).
• Select Top sites and my news feed, select your language and choose your favorite topics.
• After selecting your favorite topics, now click Save. That’s it. Now you can see your favorite news on Microsoft Edge home.
