    Why does my PC hard restart when I exit games sometimes


    Hi, I have had my computer for almost 2 years now and for the last 6-12 months it the screen has been going black and then the computer completely restarts. It most commonly happens with FIFA 23 and FC 24 but has happened after closing stuff like Minecraft or Rocket League. The only issue I have had with this computer apart from this is that when I got it from the company I bought it off it came with none of the drivers installed so maybe its missing a driver? But I have all the Nvidia drivers im pretty sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Let us isolate your concern to help us determine what's causing the white screen after you exit the game. Please answer the following questions:

    • Are there any recent changes or updates made on your laptop?
    • Did you run the World of Tanks game on the same laptop where you encountered the white screen after exiting the World of Warships?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far aside from restarting the laptop?

    Pc restart after exiting sleep mode

    well if it works within 5min, sounds like it could be losing power

    'restarts after exiting sleep mode' do you mean it acts like a fresh cold boot? or you see the windows logging off screens, then it restarts?

    i never use sleep or hibernate, risk of losing the session & waste of hard drive space
