Windows 10: why does my PC lag whenever i load up any game?

i have this issue where whenever i try to play a game it lags super badly. this also causes my discord to lag too. it's not a Wi-Fi issue because my brother is able to play games just fine without any lag. i have updated my driver with Nvidia, but nothing seems to work. this also happens every so often and i can't seem to figure out a certain way to fix it. what also happens id when i firs turn on my pc it sometimes can't even detect Wi-Fi so then i have to restart it.

• Have you made any changes prior to this issue?
• What card game are you having issues with?
• Is the issue the same with other games?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far to resolve the issue?

Windows apps troubleshooter. The apps troubleshooter can help resolve issues with games and applications downloaded from Windows Store.

Pre-loaded games won't uninstall

I'm not really into some of the games that were pre-loaded into my PC but when I try to bring up the games from the Start menu and click on 'uninstall' it takes me to the control panel, and I don't see the games listed there for me to uninstall. Suggestions, please? Thanks! ~P

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
