Windows 10: Why does my Pc only ask for Ethernet cable when I have wireless internet

Recently bought an Apevia gaming desktop pc to go with my Samsung 27” curved monitor and keyboard and whenever I go to the WiFi setting it constantly asks to be hooked up for Ethernet cable when I have a wireless internet. It isn’t detectable or anything no matter how many times I reset it.

N900 connected via ethernet cable to the internet : e.g. in hotels without wireless

As it happened to me to go in hotels where internet is available inside the room only by ethernet cable (and not wireless), I was asking how i could connect an N900.I posted on a Maemo mailing list and I received the following suggestions: Travel router,
Asus WL-330gE tested only with N800

Any suggestions, comments?

Ethernet cable not working.

You need to solve your problem one step at a time, e.g. like so:

• Connect your CAT5 cable directly to your router. If it does not work, replace the cable.
• Connect the cable to your TP-Link wall plug. If it does not work, reconfigure or replace the wall plug.

That's the only way to do it. Unplug the ethernet cable, turn sharing on for your wireless connection (not the ethernet one). Then you should plug the ethernet cable into your router's internet port and the other end into your laptop, then plug in your computer. The only reason that would not work is a bad setting somewhere. Try that and get back to me. What is the error that comes up? Something about 192.168.0.1 already being on the network?
