    Why does my PC slow down when playing music?

    Why does my PC slow down when playing music, especially loud? I have a robust 4k compatable video system for my video production. When I play/run Pandora and play music, especially loud, my computer slows down when running Photoshop or Premier Pro (but not when Pandora is not playing or running). Why? My PC has Intel Core i9-990K CPU @ 3.60GHz, 64 GB RAM, 64-bit OS, x64-based processor, 8 Core/16 Thread, Windows 10 Pro. Bill Mahon *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

    Groove Music Unable to Play Music

    We'll try a different approach, we suggest that you reinstall Groove Music and see if it has the same issue. Follow the steps below on how to remove and reinstall Groove Music:

    • Open Start menu, search for "PowerShell"
    • Right-click the PowerShell shortcut and select "Run as administrator". Agree to the UAC prompt.
    • Type/Copy paste Get-AppxPackage *zunemusic* | Remove-AppxPackage.
    • Once that Groove Music has been uninstalled, launch Windows 10 Store.
    • Type/Search for Groove Music and install.
