Volume not working when playing games

Hi

Can anyone help me, i might be being a little dumb here but i got a problem with the volume button when playing games.

When i start playing a game the volume in the game is so loud must be set at max, but when i try to turn down volume using side key (as you do when making a phone call, and have phone on speaker) nothing happens, so i either have to put up with it being very
loud, or no sound at all, can anyone help or am i doing something wrong.

Volume not working when playing games

Games usually not support the volume button (may be they will in future since I heard that its API has been opened). So to decrease/increase the volume in the game you have to go to the game Options menu (most games has the volume control there).
