Windows 10: Why does my PC suddenly not meet Windows 11 specs?

My PC has been running on Win 11 for more than a year. When trying to do an update I get a message saying the PC does not meet Win 11 specs. On 3 attempts the download stops at 8% and "We couldn't update the system reserved partition." the popup on Settings says.I've never heard of the system reserved partition. What do I do next?JGLTX

Win 11 specs.

Win 11 specs say AMD FX-6350 meets requiremenst for Win 11 , however PC Health check says not, which is it???

 

"This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements"

Ian, that's why the very first step I gave was to suggest running the PC Health Check. This is because in a meeting with developers before Windows 11 was released they told us the ultimate authority on compatibility is that tool, and that you can go ahead and install using ISO or media if it passes your hardware because Windows Updates and Installation Assistant may take awhile to catch up but Health Check is always real time.

Windows 11

My PC which is a Microsoft surface Pro has the spec needed to upgrade to windows 11, but the processor is not on the list which is required for windows 11 even though it meets the spec. (Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300U CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.50 GHz) is this just a timing thing that they are still working on compatible processors? If not I will be so angry that a Microsoft surface pro is not supported by Microsoft !!
