Windows 10: Why does my pc take so long to boot windows?

I have recently gotten a new pc and for some reason, every time i go to turn it on it takes a couple minutes for my pc to actually boot up windows. I would press my power button on my pc and the case would light up and start turning on but then the monitors would turn on and stay black for a couple minutes and my keyboard and mouse would be off as well for a couple of minutes, all with my pc still being on. As i said this is a new computer and i downloaded windows on a usb then launched windows that way after i finished building it. Is there any way i can fix this?

Extremely long and incomplete boot

This may be a long shot. My PC hung at boot yesterday after typing the password - see Can't Login - Further Troubleshooting Steps?

I ran chkdsk c: /spotfix and all is now fine. Someone has also suggested running chkdsk c: /r.

How long does your pc take to boot to windows?

Got curious about boot time on other pc's old as new.

How long does your pc take to boot from dead cold. Meaning from you push start button to ready in windows desktop?

Mine is about 38 seconds. Most of the boot time is bios posting. My old mother dosent have uefi bios but the good old legacy bios so posting takes longer. But yeah thats the price you pay then you are using almost 10 year old hardware.
