This problem only occurs when I have an Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S controller connected to my PC not any other controller, and after a large amount of time. The controller's joystick is not drifting, other programs that display the inputs for connected controllers show that the stick is in the neutral position. But windows apps think that a controller is pushing up on the left joystick, which manag

    Joystick problem with my E70

anyone got his phone back from service?

After turning the joystick around all directions it got better but wasn't solved. It really seems to be a hardware problem. If you push the joystick you feel it "clicking" and if you release it you feel it, too. But if you push it, keep it pushed, directing
it down and release it you don't feel the release anymore. I think the contacts for pushing and for the downwards direction are so close together that pushing the joystick activates the "down"-contacts...

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    1. Which version of Windows are you currently using?
    2. Since when are you facing this issue?
    3. What is the make and model of the joystick?

You can try few troubleshooting steps and check if that helps. Run the

    Hi boulos_mansour,

An incompatible driver may cause the device to not work properly on Windows 10. I suggest contacting your device manufacturer to get a Windows 10 driver for your device. You may also try using your PC joystick with other games to see if the issue persists.
If this only happens with certain games, resetting the game's controller setting may help to solve the issue.

    Regards.
