Windows 10: Why does my ping spike super high or I lose internet connection when I connect my ps4...

Hello, whenever I connect my ps4 controller to my pc, all of a sudden everything is super laggy. For example, my ping in discord will spike up to 1200-5000 whenever I connect my controller. I can not connect to the servers of some games I am trying to play because the internet connection is so bad.

It's most likely your ISP.

Do you get more spikes when you put load on your connection or does loading the connection have no effect on the ping spikes?

DNS should not matter since when running a ping test, the address is most likely resolved only once at start.

Are ping spikes present in both connection modes?
