Windows 10: Why does my Roblox sign in screen keep freezing?

Earlier today I have reinstalled Roblox for a small issue, but now when I open Roblox it's takes me to the sign in and while im doing that my whole screen would freeze. At first I thought it was a small issue so I restarted Roblox and it happened again, ever 10 seconds at least it would freeze my game, forcing me to reopen it, I couldn't even get past the sign in part before it would freeze, all I want to to is play Roblox, and I tend not to use google to play but for any questions you might have here are a few answers 1. How do I fix my Roblox Freezing?

Here are some possible solutions to fix Roblox freezing on your new monitor and PC:

1. Update your graphics drivers: Outdated graphics drivers can cause games to freeze. To update your graphics drivers, go to the website of your graphics card manufacturer (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) and download the latest drivers for your model.

2. Change your Roblox graphics settings: Try lowering your graphics settings in Roblox. This can help to improve performance and reduce the likelihood of freezing.

3. Disable Fullscreen optimizations: Fullscreen optimizations can sometimes cause games to freeze. To disable Fullscreen optimizations for Roblox, follow these steps:

• Right-click on the Roblox shortcut on your desktop.
  
• Select “Properties”.
  
• Click on the “Compatibility” tab.
  
• Check the box next to “Disable Fullscreen optimizations”.
  
• Click “Apply” and then “OK”.
  

4. Verify the integrity of your Roblox game files: Corrupted game files can cause Roblox to freeze. To verify the integrity of your Roblox game files, follow these steps:

• Open the Roblox launcher.
  
• Click on the gear icon in the top-right corner.
  
• Select “Settings”.
  
• Click on the “Verify Files” button.
  

5. Reinstall Roblox: If none of the above solutions work, you can try reinstalling Roblox. To do this, follow these steps:

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 currently installed? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the make and model of the PC?
  
• Does it happen specifically with Roblox games or any other app?
  
• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?
  

However, before proceeding with the below steps, we would suggest you to sign out from Microsoft Store and after performing the steps sign in with the same Microsoft account.



Step 1: Reset the Windows Store Cache

Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.



Note: A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.



Step 2: Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Select the Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security > Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.



Step 3: Reset Roblox app

1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Roblox app.
   
4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.
