Windows 10: Why does my screen brightness get stuck at a certain level?

I have an Windows 11 Acer and I have recently noticed an issue that no matter how much I try to turn down or up my volume it stays at a certain level and wont go any lower or higher without me having to manually change the bar myself. Is there a way to fix this or am I stuck with dealing with this issue forever?

Hi,

Some computers can let Windows automatically adjust screen brightness based on the current lighting conditions.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Click Start, then select Settings.
• Choose System, then select Display.
• Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.

The troubleshooting steps above fixed my problem, which was that the screen was too dim while brightness level was stuck at max level. Proper brightness is now restored and responds to my up or down commands...
