Windows 10: Why does my sound output automatically change between my laptop speakers and any external...

Hello,Operating System: Windows 11Laptop: Dell G5 15 5510The main gist of the problem at hand, is to do with sound output. I was able to reproduce it via connecting Bluetooth / wired headphones + earphones, all producing the same issue as shown in the links. Can you help me about the sound settings?

2 screens and 2 speakers

"A" is a VGA screen.

"B" is the HDMI screen.

"C" is "B" speaker

"D" is the speaker.

When the application is displayed on B, I want the application sound to be output to C

with

When the application is displayed on C, the application sound is output to D.

When application A goes to B or B goes to A,

The sound output automatically changes C to D or D to C.

When the program changes the screen, the sound output is automatically changed.

One screen, one sound output~

Windows 10 audio stutters regardless of driver or output used, more noticeable on the toslink and surround sound.

• What device are you using? A laptop or a computer?
• Its a desktop, i listed the components in the original post.
• Do you have an external speaker?From which device does the sound come out from? From the TV or from the device?
• I listed the outputs in the original post. The issue exists on all outputs and exists on the tv speakers, surround sound speakers, and headset.
• What other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• I have listed the troubleshooting steps that i can remember in the original post.

 

Sound comes out of laptop instead of TV when viewing a DVD

Sorry everyone, I forgot to come back to say I solved the issue! I did it like this:

• Right-click speaker icon in the tray
• Click on "Sounds"
• Go go to the "Playback" tab"

There are two speaker devices listed:

1. Digital Output (with a TV icon)
2. Speaker/HP (my laptop speakers)

I disabled Speaker/HP, and then Digital Output automatically took over, which made the sound come out of the TV.

Problem solved!
