Windows 10: Why does my TV screen lose hdmi signal every time I start The evil within on steam

So I bought evil dead for steam and after downloading it i pressed play, the screen went black and after a few seconds my screen started showing me no signal, I tried to look it up but no one has had the same problem so farMy TV is 4k so I switched to my 1080p monitor just to see if something changes, no it doesn't, instead the screen starts flickering from the desktop menu to a black screen repeatedly, I've been able to reach the press any button to start option on the game by capping frame rates to 30 and the screen to 1080p but it still loses signal after a few seconds and it seems to "

resolve the issue:

• On your desktop, right-click on a blank space and select Personalize.
• Click System then select Display.
• Check if you can see the TV as second monitor.
• If not, click Windows key + P.
• Select Duplicate.
• If the duplicate option is not applicable, select Extend instead.
• After that, repeat steps 1 to 3 again and see if the TV is now detected.

PC to A/V Receiver to TV Signal Loss


Hi all,

I am experiencing a strange issue where my TV is losing signal after playing a game for a period of time. My primary display, a monitor, is not affected by this. My speakers also cut off when the TV loses signal. The TV is connected via HDMI. The TV appears in my list of displays as "Denon AVR"

My TV is connected through a Denon AVR. I have used this setup for months without any issues, and this practically came out of nowhere. I ran variable tests where I tried to replicate the issue on other game consoles attached to my AVR, and it did not happen in those cases. I also tried multiple HDMI cables to see if it was a cable problem. No luck.

Any idea what might be causing this issue?

no HDMI signal


I have an ASUS monitor and ASUS desktop with a graphics card not on board graphics. I have an HDMI cable from the monitor to the video card. Today for the first time while on the internet my screen froze and then went blue saying no HDMI signal. I tried everything but still no signal. I then tried my VGA cable and all was working. I then tried my HDMI cable again and it worked until this afternoon when I was watching a video on the internet and the screen froze and said no HDMI signal. also when this happened I could hear my fan running loudly. Any suggestions on what the problem could be?
