Windows 10: Why does my Window 11 Bluetooth on PC keep saying failed to connect to my Xbox Elite...

Hello, I recently made the switch from Xbox Series X to PC gaming. I bought a very nice PC that runs flawlessly with windows 11 installed. I am only having one problem and that it connecting my Xbox Elite Controller to my PC. All other blue tooth devices pair effortlessly. My Bluetooth on windows 11 detects my Xbox controller however repeatedly says failed to connect. I’ve read through a lot of issues on here and tried using the answers people provided to troubleshoot my connectivity issue. I have turned Bluetooth on/off, used troubleshooter, restarted my PC and I have used a wired connection

Xbox Elite controller cannot connect on Windows 10 (bluetooth)

Thanks for the suggestions.

Unfortunately, all of these are about disconnect issue. My problem is that it doesn't even see the controller when trying to pair.

However, I tried with me Elite 2 - and bingo, that one works flawlessly (no disconnect issues for me).

So what I have is that

• original controller - works
  
• Elite 2 controller - works
  
• Elite controller - does NOT work
  

I ended up using my 'Elite 2' on PC and my 'Elite' for my Xbox

 

Xbox Elite 2 Bluetooth won't connect

I'm having trouble getting my new Elite Series 2 controller to connect to my Win 10 PC. I went through all my updates. I removed my previous Elite Controller that was paired up via the wireless dongle just in case there is some naming conflict. I can
connect my phone to my PC. I can connect my controller to my phone. I just can't connect the controller to my PC. After a reboot, Win 10 finds the device, but when I click on it to connect, it just says "Connecting" forever. The controller eventually
gives up. If I try to pair it again, Win 10 doesn't even see the device and give me the option to connect. The Xbox Elite was listed under Bluetooth in my Device Manager. I uninstalled it, but that didn't fix it. I've gone through all the trouble shooting
recommendations on the site.

Any ideas?
