Windows 10: Why does my Windows 10 occasionally freezes entirely while playing Elite Dangerous ?

My Windows 10 occasionally freezes entirely while playing Elite Dangerous in multiplayer mode.It is completely stable with applications, other games and in every other situation.It only freezes from time to time in that game and only in multiplayer mode <> 4 times since last February.The freeze is so complete that it requires a manual reboot. After that the OS boots normally and Event Viewer registers that "the OS was rebooted due to an unexpected error".I have used DISM and SFC commands in Powershell to see if there is any trouble in the OS files. Both commands find no problems.I am una

My Freelancer game has finally refused to run in win 10 build 10526. It did, but I need to change mods, and it now wont run. I installed it 4 times, and then a fairly new mod, no luck, wont pass opening splash

Q: Is Elite Dangerous only online?

if so I dont want it, I want only a single player offline version.
