Windows 10: Why does my windows 11 laptop keep sleeping after about a minute when set to never sleep?...

My windows 11 laptop keeps sleeping after about a minute when I went into the control panel and to the power options there and set it to never sleep. I did this for the balanced mode the dell mode and everything. I have restarted my computer multiple times and the computer still sleeps after 1 minute of not being used.

Problem with sleep mode in Windows 11.

Since the most recent Windows 11 update, my laptop has been going into sleep mode after I stop using the keyboard for 1 minute. I have the “screen and sleep” settings set to 30 minutes for “on battery power” and 1 hour for “plugged in,” and the “power mode” is set to “balanced.” But it still goes to sleep after only 1 minute. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? Thanks.

I've never seen at least one them not be successful.

I had suggested first to set Display at 0, Sleep at 1 minute and Hibernate at 2 minutes and then after each step sit back to observe. I have rarely had to work all the way through the list.

Absolute thoroughness is required when troubleshooting Sleep, skipping nothing and asking back if you need any help to complete a step. We often find out later that the fix was the skipped step, so please do not skip any. If you need help performing any step

Your PC might be set to sleep once it is idle for 5mins. For you to adjust this setting, we suggest looking into the
Power Options advanced settings. Follow these steps:

• Open Control Panel and click on Power Options.
• On your Preferred plans, click Change plan settings.
• Click Change advanced power settings.
• Expand Sleep and System unattended sleep timeout.
• Set how many minutes you want your system to be left idle before it goes to sleep.
