Why does my Windows 11 make it look like I'm typing on everything I click on?

Whenever I click on any piece of text, it makes it look like its typing. However, it doesn't actually type it just shows the flashing line as if typing on a document. This has been happening ever since I updated my computer Surface Laptop Go 2. It even does this when I am watching YouTube, when in full screen the flashing typing line is at the top of the screen, and it has become very frustrating.Anyone know what this is or if there is any way to fix this? Many thanks!

    :)

  2. Pentium M

Not sure what I'm looking at. Though when I do go to Options and then CPU it lists my CPU
as Intel Pentium M processor 1.73 GHz, and then under that it lists speed: 799.9 MHz
and then features and cache size.I ran the benchmark test and don't understand all
those numbers, but while testing I checked CPUZ and it still says it is running at 800 MHz.

    Hello^^

I apologize for the redundant question, but was unable to reply in the post linked below (the post data for the on the 'reply" element seems to not be successfully submitting).

I have experienced the same issue multiple times, periodically on my new windows 11 machine ( have owned the Alienware Aurora r12, approx. 6 times or so over 3 - 4 months). I also have followed the steps listed in the post below and have the mini-dump file. Please advise how to proceed.

    Redirecting

    Thanks kindly,

    Shaun
