Windows 10: Why does my windows Store reset my download, yet the file is still there

so im downloading forza horizon 4 in my pc, the game has 74 GB size. i waited for the game to completely downloaded for almast 3 days since my internet is not the fastest. my top speed is 1.25MBps so yeah it took a lot of time...

then when its actually has been downloaded for 100%, somehow it reset its progress to 0 again... but the game is still somehow still in my computer because before the download of forza, my PC has 310 GB left then after the forza finished the download, it became 236, and i dont install any other apps other than forza. so it must be forza that took 74 GB on my PC right?


so after the download reset itself to 0% i tried to cancel the download thinking the game might be playable since all the files are still in my PC even after the download reset itself to 0%. after i cancel the download, i tried to launch the game. but it kept on saying "THIS APP CANT OPEN... check windows store for more info about forza horizon 4" and when i click on the "see in store" windows store just start my download again starting from 0-1% again.....

why is this happening? i tried to "reset" the installation to reinstall the app but still i cant launch the game...
is there a way to fix it without i have to completely uninstall it again? because i really dont want to wait for another 4-5 days to download the game


this is my very first time installing games from microsoft store btw, usually i got my games from Steam... so if maybe this is normal and im just overreacting, please dont be harsh on me

Windows Store Not Downloading

We suggest that you try to reset your Windows Store as a work around for this issue.

To reset Windows Store, please follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows +R
  
• 
  Type Wsreset.exe and press Enter

Windows 10 Apps from the store wont download

• Do you face this issue only with these apps?
• Did you try downloading other apps?
• Did you try stopping these apps and then downloading it again?

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search
  box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.

Downloading is Slow from Store.

• Type wsreset.exe on Run window and press enter.

Try to run the sfc scan and check if the Windows store downloads faster:

Run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption.
SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them.

• Press Windows key + X, click
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
  
  sfc /scannow
