Windows 10: Why does nothing microsoft just work. Why can't I activate my genuine windows licenses?

How am I supposed to get help when none of microsoft's systems work correctly?Here's my experience so far:Upgraded hardware in PCAttempted to activate using windows troubleshooter. Error code 0xC004C060Aware how bad windows support is, attempted to use a new key. Same Error code 0xC004C060 ****?Called windows support. Wasted 30 mins with an agent in India giving my details, my key details both running commands in command prompt. Error code 0xC004C060.Agent validated that both licenses are valid and also when asked, said I wouldn't be able to get back either of my licenses despite both being

Windows 7 not genuine problem

It seems like that's an OEM windows copy, it will do that the every time you reinstall the OS. If you have the key, next time you see the "not genuine windows copy" click it and choose to activate by phone, everything else is pretty straight forward as it explains step-by-step. If it doesn't work, then its highly likely that you got a Pirate copy.

 

How to check if Windows is activated using genuine license

Ideally, if you are activating a copy of Windows, depending on how you got your copy of Windows 10, you'll need either a 25-character product key or a digital license to activate it. A digital license (called a digital entitlement in Windows 10, Version
1511) is a method of activation in Windows 10 that doesn't require you to enter a product key. Without one of these, you won't be able to activate your device.



To check if your copy of Windows is Retail or Volume License, you can:

1. Open Command Prompt
   
2. Type slmgr /dlv
   
3. This will open Windows Script Host window.
   
4. The “Product Key Channel” line item will show you if it is Retail or VLK(Volume License)
   

Usually, if you are not using a genuine Microsoft product key, you may start receiving notifications on your PC that the Microsoft software you're running may not be genuine or activated.

Thanks for replying, but if anyone came here lookin for the same answer here it is, took a bit of searching but I found it in the end:
"14. PROOF OF LICENSE. a) Genuine Proof of License. If you acquired the software on a disc or other media, a genuine Microsoft proof of license label with a genuine copy of the software identifies software licensed under the terms of this agreement. To be valid, this label must appear on Microsoft packaging. If you receive the label separately, it is invalid. You should keep the packaging that has the label on it to prove that you are licensed to use the software.

15. REASSIGN TO ANOTHER DEVICE. You may reassign the license to a different device any number of times, but not more than one time every 90 days. If you reassign, that other device becomes the "licensed device." If you retire the licensed device due to hardware failure, you may reassign the license sooner.

16. TRANSFER TO A THIRD PARTY. The first user of the software may make a one-time transfer of the software, and this agreement, directly to a third party. The first user must uninstall the software before transferring it separately from the device. The first user may not retain any copies. Before any permitted transfer, the other party must agree that this agreement applies to the transfer and use of the software. The transfer must include the proof of license. If the software is an upgrade, any transfer must also include all prior versions of the software."

In other words, if you uninstall it completely, i think the buyer is eligible for the full retail license and so have the full 3 licenses.

And as long as you keep the full packaging with the product key label attached, this is the proof of license.
