Windows 10: Why does One Drive keep selecting a folder to sync that I don't want to sync

Hello folks,Just recently, OneDrive has been trying to sync my "Pictures" folder with my laptop, it's a huge folder and I only want it on my main PC. Every so often, I notice that OneDrive is syncing a lot of data, when I look at settings and select folders, the "Pictures" folder is selected and it is syncing nearly 200gb of images to my laptop. I can't stop it until it has done this, then I can unselect it and go through the process of it removing the pictures.It has been fine for years, it's only just started to do this in the last couple of months.Any ideas?Thanks

One Drive Sync Folders.

Please pardon me but is is possible you haven't set them up yet to sync to Onedrive. Maybe the the first two got grabbed as defaults?

How do I sync a folder between 2 PCs?

Just simply drag and drop music folder on to drive you want it on and it will sync and copy it to that drive...and the music folder will remain where it was!!

 

My iPhone can't sync the contacts to Mac

have you tried importing the contacts form the phone to google contacts then syncing then exporting them from there to a file on the computer then importing that into the address book
or you can also go through the info page in itunes for your phone and sync contacts from the phone to the computer that way by checking the box that says sync contact to then select address book
